New K8 Plus, SLOW Windows updates

  Just set up a new K8 Plus at home last night, and for some reason Windows updates were EXTREMELY slow. I am an IT tech for a school department, and we never had computers update this slow. I thogutht there may be an issue with the OS. I didn't want to blow it out and reinstall because I don't know if I need any special drivers that Windows 11 can't find. 

  All other internet stuff runs great, and I even did a Speedtest, 500 up/500 down, so the issue isn't my connection.

  I let some updates run overnight, but couldn't check it before I left for work this morning.

   

  Could I just blow it out and reinstall without having any driver issues?

  You will need drivers (you should install adrenaline for gpu and chipset drivers, mayby intel wifi but it is eazy witch "Automatically update your drivers and software" - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download-center/home.html )

  but first, all depends what update you install. if its like 24h2>25h2 it take much time. 09.2025 or 10.2025 will be slow too. try do drive benchmark like "as ssd", use crystaldisk info to check smart status of drive, does it healthy.
