I am writing regarding my GMKtec K6 mini PC and a serious BIOS issue I encountered.
Device: GMKtec K6 mini PC
Current BIOS version: v1.02 (20240315)
Problem: After setting a BIOS user password, most advanced options became greyed out. The system now always asks for a User password at startup, but the Supervisor menu is hidden in this firmware version. Because of this, I cannot remove the password or access the full BIOS settings.
Attempts made:
- CMOS reset (did not clear the password)
- AFUWIN flash with /P /B /N /K parameters (NVRAM cleared, but password still persists)
- Reflashing v1.02 BIOS (issue remains)
Request: Could you please provide an official BIOS file or unlock solution that restores Supervisor access and allows me to remove the User password? If possible, I would also appreciate a rollback BIOS version (v1.01) where the Supervisor menu is visible.
