Can't download "Too many users"

  • I am trying to download what I am assuming is a Windows image for my GMKTec mini pc but am unable to do so due to "too many users" error. Is their another link I can use? Also, are their instructions on how to use this file. EVO-T1_ Win11Pro_64_24H2_up6584_AIPC323_251027b(with model OS).zip  Thanks!

  • @moseng See my other post on where to find instructions. As far as I can see there are no alternate links. Only solution is to wait until the next day and then download early before GMKtec's quota is again exhausted🙄😂

  • @Tabbycat Thanks, I was finally able to download 2 images but they appear to not be bootable ISO images that I'm used to using. You can't just copy these to a flash drive and they work. I've tried to make them bootable with Rufus but that didn't work either.

  • @moseng Have you followed this official GMKtec how-to tutorial? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV5mdQ8hrDg It shows how to extract the downloaded ZIP or ISO first, then format the USB memory stick in NTFS and rename to "winpe", then copy ALL the extracted folders & files to the memory stick.

Insert memory stick in to your NucBox, power up and select the BIOS menu key to boot from USB. If the scripts show an error, then double-check you have renamed the stick to "winpe" and try again.

Just realised you replied to your other post - so sounds like you have already followed the above tutorial. I had a brand new G2 NucBox that refused to boot properly. So I ended up downloading W11P ZIP from GMKtec download centre. In that instance the USB boot worked perfectly. I happen to have a photo of the desktop cleanup script running (see attached).
