I've had this device for 6 weeks now and really like it. I admit I've only used it for everyday tasks so far and not used it for any development or game playing, but so far it has handled everything capably and (mostly) silently. I'll update the review when I have a better feel for performance under load but included PassMark numbers at the bottom for those interested.
All-in-all a very solid device for a reasonable price given that it comes with decent onboard graphics, 32 Gb RAM, and a 2TB SSD... and you don't have to deal with a big black box under your desk.
Two nits:
- The fan sometimes spins up even when the computer isn't in use, which typically isn't a problem but if it's in a room where people are trying to sleep it can be annoying.
- There is only one USB-C port and it's on the front of the device so if you want to connect it to a dock or a hub, the cable hangs off the front which kinda uggs things up.
For me, neither of these are show-stoppers but I wanted to mention them as they might offend others' sensibilities.
