I ordered a PC to upgrade my old Lenovo ThinkPad, and as a web developer, I'd like to say that the GMKtec EVO-T1 Intel Core Ultra 9 285H is perfect for me. The PC is quite fast and powerful. The GMKTec team shipped my order quite quickly.
There are a few nuances I'd like to highlight. Even though the website is German, the PC was shipped from Hong Kong. The GMKtec team shipped it via FedEx, and delivery took about two weeks.

I currently live in Spain, and I had to pay tax on the product, which amounted to €54 including FedEx services. I'd like to share how the tax payment process worked for me. First, FedEx emailed me a document that I had to fill out and sign. This document authorizes them to pay the taxes on your behalf. Basically, they need your name, document number, and signature. I didn't quite understand this at first, so I had to resend the document. If the document you send isn't valid, they'll contact you again. They then sent me an invoice for taxes, also by email. Overall, I'm happy with the GMKTec team. I hope this information was helpful to someone. Thank you!

Awesome product and awesome service

I have received the unit in January 2026, the 96Gb + 2Tb model, and have some thoughts to share.
The shipment will be from China, it will be pretty fast, for me about 2 weeks. I received an email from Fedex with the tracking number and also later with request to provide some documents for the customs, like proof of transaction, filled declaration, that stuff, and there were also the photos of the invoice (with some basic unit as a model and a lower price) and the packing list with which it was shipped originally attached to that email.
So, what you need to understand.
1) Currently, the original documents are provided by Fedex before customs clearance, there are some reviews here where people were complaining they had no invoice. I had the invoice, Fedex sent it to me in an email.
2) The customs clearance is your responsibility, Fedex agents will do it on your behalf with the PDF documents that you provide back to them in another email, took me a nervous day to figure those out.
3) The clearance process was fast and after about an extra 3 days I had received the unit from the courier.
So, overall, the delivery process was a bit scary, but turned out fine.
The unit itself is great, no complains about it. I have applied the PTM7950 thermal pad immediately on arrival, added an extra ssd, it is now very fast and silent, the temps do not exceed 80C under the load and around 35-40C while typing something in VSCode.
I am very happy with this unit and only wish the delivery was from within EU to avoid the customs.
