EVO-X2 BIOS Guide to Adjust VRAM Size

A notice: This guide only applies to BIOS versions EVO-X2 1.04 05/12/2025 or newer.


1. Access the BIOS interface

  • Make sure the EVO-X2 device is turned off but connected to a power source.

  • Press the power button and then repeatedly ESC keyto open the BIOS menu.
    (See figure below.)


2. Navigate to the "Advanced" menu

  • Use the Arrow keys (→) on the keyboard to select the tab Advanced to select.
    (See figure below.)


3. Select "GFX Configuration"

  • Use the Arrow keys (↓), to GFX Configuration to highlight and press Enter.
    (See figure below.)


4. Adjust "iGPU Configuration"

  • Choose iGPU Configuration, press Enterand select the Arrow keys (↓) the option UMA_SPECIFIED.
    (See figure below.)


5. Set "UMA Frame Buffer Size"

  • Mark with the Arrow keys (↓) the option UMA Frame Buffer Size and press Enter.

  • In the submenu you can use the Arrow keys (↓) adjust the VRAM size:

    • 64GB-Systeme: Maximal 48GB VRAM.

    • 128GB systems: Maximum 96GB VRAM.

6. Confirm VRAM size

  • Press Enterto save the selected VRAM size.
    (See figure below.)


7. Save changes and exit

  • Switch with the Arrow keys (→) to the rider Save & Exit.

  • Choose Save & Reset and press Enterto save the changes and exit the BIOS.
    (See figure below.)


The VRAM adjustment is now complete.
