EVO-X2 BIOS & EC Boot Procedure Guide (Windows System)

Startsequenz: EC → BIOS

1. Flash EC

  1. Download ITEFlash_WIN EC-AXB35-02-1.04-GMK.ZIP to the desktop and unzip it (see figure):

  2. Open the folder ITEFlash_WIN EC-AXB35-02-1.04-GMK by double-clicking (see figure):

  3. Right-click on the file "FEC" and select "Run as administrator" (see figure):

  4. During the flashing process (see figure):

  5. After successful completion, the command window displays "Update EC Rom successfully" Close the window – this confirms the successful flashing process (see figure):

Important information about the EC-Flash:

  • The program runs automatically during the process. External devices can be moved.

  • Not: Close windows, unplug, shut down, or restart.

  • After completion (window closes automatically):

    • Device turn off and pull the power cable.

    • Then restart.

2. Flash BIOS

Check BIOS version

  1. Press WIN + R, give MSINFO32 and check BIOS version/date (see figure):

Perform BIOS update

  1. Download AXB3502_GMK_R104.zip to the desktop and unzip it (see figure):

  2. Navigate to the path AXB3502_GMK_R104\Afu_WinFlash (see figure):

  3. Double-click the file "AXB3502_GMK_BIOS_WinFlash" (see figure):

  4. The update process begins (see figure):

Important information about BIOS flash:

  • During the process, external devices (mouse, keyboard, etc.) deactivated.

  • Not: Disconnect power, shut down or restart!

  • Once completed, the device automatically switched off.

  • If you have problems (e.g. power failure): Contact the manufacturer for Motherboard replacement.
